Steampunk Snowfall 7 by Windthin

Love the look of not only the ensemble but the photo. The clothing has a great blend of societal sophistication and ruggedness, and you...

Solid design work; it could easily be a base for an Armored Core kit. The mech has good balance and appears very mobile and functional....

So sorry it's been a while since I've posted an update! I've been kind of busy with career, family, and commission work lately. I'll try to be more diligent. Right now I am working on my third commission custom Zoid, so at least we know that's coming!

3/4 overview shots of my Wolvereaver build. I learned a lot on this one, and I should think I will do an even better job on my next piece. It should be noted that Wolvereaver is unique in that it is not my design; I was contracted to build the artist's original work. I was, however, given license to update and change that work so that the model could have realistic articulation.

She is both regal and terrible, and, I think ranks with my best work to date. The glowing blue comes in three forms; the eyes and wing lights are LED, the bright blue lines and vents are all luminescent paint, and the claws are acrylic. These photos are not retouched; I mounted a black light over my camera... this is how she looks in person!

Her build page is here:…

Gil Kaiserin - custom toy comparison to the original Zoids Gil Dragon (original in white); my custom is approximately 50% wider, 50% longer, and 25% taller.

I launched a small desktop publishing company in 2007, Relentless Publishing, LLC, and have a boxed edition RPG publication credit. Currently I am working on a variety of titles from board games to combat strategy games. As and artist I dabble in mixed-media, able to do some illustrations and digital artwork for my publications. As a small business I occasionally seek contractors with a style (and price point) that matches my needs or interests.

I have been employed as a graphic artist in a variety of fields including law (personal injury, premises liability, vehicle torts, medical malpractice, sexual abuse), government contracting (training course ware, US Navy), marketing (corporate image, branding, advertising), package design, book covers, conceptual design, product development, civic and charity work, photograph reconstruction, and a handful of other tasks and jobs. On the side I enjoy kitbashing and scratch model building; a different artistic use of my hands. I have recently undertaken my first professional model-building project as well.

I do apologize; my end of the world has become rather intensely difficult as of late. My company lost its contract bid, and it is unknown if I will have a job next week or not. With a baby due in July it makes everything much harder... I have been taking any side work I can find to try to slow the bleeding, so to speak. Not a lot of time, sleep, or security these days.

Thanks... I really do miss the old days when I could pretty much do whatever art I wanted. I do, however, believe I will see those days again!
